If clubs are scheduled to meet on a day when school is closed or if there are unforeseen closures, clubs will not meet.
At the end of the meeting times, students should be picked up at the front of the school or sent to the After School Program (which has a separate registration and fee). Please note that you must register for the After School Program on the ProCare website before utilizing ASP services. Program Description: Each week, a short story or children's book will be selected that coordinates with one of NCA's virtues. The book is read as a group and afterwards, students will participate in a themed craft that relates back to the story. They will take their artwork with them at the end of the club session and tell you all about their storybook adventure on the drive home!

Program Description: Kilometer kids is a game-based curriculum that is designed to teach kids about goal setting, healthy habits, respect, and community building by exposing them to the sport of running. Over the course of the 10-week season, the goal for every Kilometer Kid is to run a cumulative 13.1 miles through structured games and short runs. Being a Kilometer Kid is not about running the fastest or winning the race. Instead, it's all about working hard, being kind, and having fun while finding joy in the process of physical activity.

Program Description: Students will learn how to operate a digital camera to capture and edit photos that tell an artistic story over the span of the semester. After a certain number of attended meetings and reviewed photographs, students will have the opportunity to gain access to school "press passes," deeming them experienced enough to photograph school events for the yearbook. This club will build from fundamentals taught in fine arts to give the students an individualized perspective of the art form with creative freedom to expand their personal portfolios.

Program Description: The Junior Classical League is a national organization that helps foster appreciation for the ancient world through Latin and Greek. NCA’s local chapter plans to begin networking with the state organization (GJCL) to drum up interest in the national convention over the summer. Students will engage in creative outlets, hearty competition, and build a community around their studies of classical cultures. We will be participating in GJCL Certamina and other statewide/national competitions. Weekly operation will consist of one Certamen practice and occasionally one logistical meeting.
